On November 2022, the “Enter the Circle” project held its kick-off meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark. This exciting project brings together partners from Denmark, Cyprus, Greece, and Poland with the shared goal of advancing the circular economy and equipping young entrepreneurs with the necessary competencies and skills.
The meeting saw the enthusiastic participation of key stakeholders from each partner country, including Eleni Vasdoka, Georgia Griva, Anastasia Pantou, Michal Pietrzok, Katerina Ilie Tomulescu, Dorina Bekefi, and Luis Ageitos.
Key Discussions and Outcomes
1. Expectations and Contributions: Participants expressed their eagerness to learn more about the circular economy, get to know the coordinator organization, and ensure the project addresses market needs effectively.
2. Project Brief: The project’s objectives were clarified, emphasizing the importance of intellectual outputs such as the framework research report and MOOC training.
3. Executive and Operational Structure: Roles were assigned, with Unicert overseeing quality evaluation and People of 2050 leading the dissemination strategy.
4. Workflow and Communications: Agreed on the use of various digital tools for communication and scheduled monthly online meetups and transnational meetings.
5. Reporting and Dissemination: The need for clear reporting requirements was highlighted, and partners were urged to share timesheets, contracts, and activity reports.
6. Research and Framework Development: A significant part of the discussion was dedicated to developing a comprehensive competence framework for young entrepreneurs. It was decided to incorporate national level insights and conduct desk research on the EntreComp and GreenComp frameworks.
